Mohammad Hakim Hafizi, an Afghan national born on March 25, 1958, in Balkh, is a seasoned professional with a rich educational and professional background. Currently residing in Karte Parsa # 1, District 2, Mazar City, Balkh Province, he is married and holds Afghan nationality.

Hakim earned a B.Sc. degree in Plant Science from the Faculty of Agriculture at Kabul University in 1980, showcasing a strong foundation in agriculture. His journey in the professional realm spans over several decades, featuring roles of increasing responsibility and impact.

From June 2013 to September 2021, Hakim served as the Provincial Manager at UN-Habitat-Mazar, contributing significantly to the development of the overall program strategy in Balkh province. His responsibilities included coordination with technical departments, communities, financial supervision, and effective representation of UN-Habitat at local and UN meetings.

Prior to this, from January 2004 to May 2013, he held the position of Provincial Reporting/MIS Assistant at UN-Habitat-Mazar, where he excelled in data analysis, maintenance of project databases, and contribution to planning exercises.

Hakim's earlier roles, such as Environment Improvement Specialist and Manager of Qargha Research Station Farm, reflect his extensive experience in agriculture projects, research, and community engagement.
